When Individuals Share Feelings and Ideas, They Experience the Creativity that Reinforces Old Skills and Fosters the Development of New Skills.
Eligibility
The individual should meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the ability to stand (supporting their own weight)
- Not require 1:1 staffing for more than one third of the day
- Be able to follow simple directions & redirection
- Ability to work well within a group setting
- Be continent of bowel/bladder functioning (although we know accidents may happen)
- Ability to use restroom independently with minimal supervision or assistance
- Ability to treat others with respect & kindness
Each individual must meet with us for an interview before becoming a member of Ohana. We will set up a two-week trial period to ensure that we are a good fit for each other.
