Our Comprehensive Services Provide Members the Opportunity to Develop Self-Esteem, Maintain Independence, Build Confidence, and Practice Self-Expression.


When Individuals Share Feelings and Ideas, They Experience the Creativity that Reinforces Old Skills and Fosters the Development of New Skills.

Eligibility

 

The individual should meet the following requirements:


  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the ability to stand (supporting their own weight)
  • Not require 1:1 staffing for more than one third of the day
  • Be able to follow simple directions & redirection
  • Ability to work well within a group setting
  • Be continent of bowel/bladder functioning (although we know accidents may happen)
  • Ability to use restroom independently with minimal supervision or assistance
  • Ability to treat others with respect & kindness


Each individual must meet with us for an interview before becoming a member of Ohana.  We will set up a two-week trial period to ensure that we are a good fit for each other.
