To maximize the independence & overall wellness of seniors & adults w/disabilities, & create public awareness on the importance of staying mentally & physically active as we progress in age.
To enhance the quality of life of each member by providing the necessary resources that will allow them to remain actively engaged in their wellness & within their communities
Seniors & disabled adults who may need supervision, medication reminders, assistance w/daily activities, health monitoring, social interactions w/others, or just ready to Live Out Their Best Lives!
The Ohana Adult Day Program is a licensed community-based setting providing adult day health care services to seniors and disabled adults who may require supervision during the day and/or assistance carrying out daily activities.
At Ohana, one can enjoy the company and conversation of peers while addressing their individual health and safety needs.
We encompass the health and social services needed to ensure the optimal functioning of each participant. We promote social engagement & empowerment, encourage physical mobility, and nurture self-expression & creativity, with hopes of deferring nursing home placement. Most importantly, we aim to reunite our members with their “Purpose” – a valuable piece of "self" often misplaced or lost altogether as we age.
We believe in person-centered care because no two people are alike. We place great thought and detail into every aspect of your care. Each member will have an individualized activity schedule based on their preferences, interests, immediate needs, and choices that support integration and access into the community.
Our “home away from home” provides a safe, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere where you have the ability of developing a true sense of belonging, while gaining confidence in knowing that your care needs will ALWAYS be met with the highest level of Dignity, Respect, and Compassion.
YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY IS PRIORITY!
One thing the COVID-19 Pandemic should have taught us all is that we can never be too cautious when it comes to taking the necessary measures to ensure that we utilize safe practices to reduce the possibility of transmitting or spreading any communicable diseases at our facility.
Many of our members have weakened immune systems, so it is imperative that we take NO SHORT CUTS when it comes to keeping our facility sanitized and our members and staff safe!.
We recommend that everyone continue to wear face masks upon entering and leaving the building. We also ask that you cooperate with daily temperature checks. If you feel ill or know that you have been exposed to someone who has or had COVID-19 - stay at home until you are cleared by your physician.
COVID-19 does not have to stop us from living our best lives!
We will get through this safely by: Working Together, Staying Informed, Practicing Good Hygiene, & Enhancing Our Overall Well-Being.
You Are in Clean Hands at Ohana!
We are Dedicated to Improving the Overall Wellness of Seniors & Disabled Adults Within the Loganville Area & Surrounding Communities. All Monetary Contributions are Appreciated, & Greatly Support Our Mission to Serve!
